Disaster Response

Humanity First has been responding to disasters in various parts of the world. It maintains a vast pool of volunteers in the US and many other countries (through its sister HF operations) in six continents. By working with and assisting local authorities, communities can be helped in a cost effective way with their immediate and long term needs after disaster.

Our Approach

Humanity First USA maintains a disaster monitoring team in New York. This team works closely with disaster monitoring teams in UK, Germany, Indonesia, and New Zeland. The New York team also maintains contact with other disaster relief agencies around the globe and with United Nations. Once a disaster is identified that is within the scope of Humanity First our teams are activated in coordination with local volunteers and authorities.

Our Strength

The biggest strength of Humanity first USA remains its pool of volunteers which comprises of professionals willing to volunteer on a short notice. We maintain a pool of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, engineers, retired military personnel, EMT, and firefighters who are willing to donate their precious time for the humanitarian efforts around the world.
